House Rules

* NO Extra Guests: Please do not bring unregistered guests onto the property at any time, as this is a liability for us. Should we or discover additional guests, your booking will be cancelled and you will be asked to leave. Please let us know if your guest list changes.

*NO Smoking: Due to forest fire risk, as well as difficulty in removing smoke odors, no smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. Evidence of smoking will result in a $150 excess cleaning fee deducted from your damage deposit.

*NO PARTY NOISE: Please limit noise after 10pm out of respect for our neighbors.

* TRASH: You are encouraged to take your trash with you. You may leave up to 3 kitchen sized bags of trash. After that we charge $10 per bag, deducted from your damage deposit.

The open living room/dining room area is a lovely place to spend evenings looking out the cathedral ceiling windows, curled up in front of the wood stove, or relaxing in front of the Smart TV.

GAME ROOM - Above the detached garage is the Game Room, which includes:

- Wii Game Console with "Just Dance," "Just Dance 3" and "Mario and Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games," Wheel of Fortune, etc
- PlayStation 3 console with a few games, including Madden 16, FIFA 16

The KITCHEN has a dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and is equipped with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and accessories.

BATHROOMS: 3 full bathrooms, 2 in the main house (upstairs and downstairs) and 1 in the Rec Room.

Note for LARGE GROUPS: We think our chalet is most comfortable for groups of 8 or fewer -- plenty of sleeping options and room to spread out. However, we can sleep up to 11, although it will be snug. Also, due to the extra wear and tear, especially on the septic and water usage, we charge an extra person fee for groups over 8 guests (automatically added to the quote).
Guest access
You have access to the whole house and GARAGE.
Additional notes
PET POLICY: Although we don't have pet-related amenities, you are welcome to bring along up to TWO well-behaved, house-trained dogs. We charge a pet fee of $100 per dog for each 5-night period or fraction. You agree to pay the pet fee which will be billed separately. Additional pets may be allowed on a case-by-case basis with owner's prior approval.

WEATHER AND OUTAGES:
No refunds for storms, poor regional air quality, or weather-related outages (Comcast, PG&E, etc).

We encourage you to stay informed as best you can about weather forecasts and any planned electric utility outages. The cabin has an automatic generator to supply power to the house during a power outage.

The generator will not, however, maintain broadband internet or cable television if the Comcast substations go down due to a widespread power outage. We may have an emergency internet work-around, but that is not guaranteed. We do the best we can to provide you full amenities, but rural mountain life has its challenges.

We encourage you to consider purchasing a separate low-cost travel insurance policy that can provide you coverage for last-minute cancellations.


CELL PHONE COVERAGE
Please note: cell phone reception is limited in the Arnold/Dorrington area. VERIZON (and its partners like Tracfone, Xfinity Mobile) tends to be the only provider that works. For this reason we provide a *LANDLINE PHONE* available for your use.
