We have some exciting news to share about Bear Valley Ski Resort. Recently, the resort changed ownership and is now under the management of California Mountain Resorts Collection (CMRC). We believe these changes hold great potential for an even more enjoyable ski and snowboard experience.
According to news reports, efforts are underway to revitalize certain areas of the resort, such as Grizzly Bowl and Snow Valley. Grizzly Bowl, offering a 1,100-foot vertical and 500 acres of terrain, is receiving particular attention after years of being less active. Brush and trees that previously limited access have been cleared, promising a renewed and improved skiing experience.
In addition to these exciting developments, Bear Valley is now part of the CMRC’s “Cali Pass.” This pass grants unlimited access to all four resorts, including Mountain High in Southern California, China Peak near Fresno, and Dodge Ridge in Pinecrest.
Furthermore, the Cali Pass extends your horizons with access to 19 other ski resorts around the world. We are excited to see how we can take advantage of these passes ourselves!
With these exciting changes to Bear Valley, as well as the early predictions of a snowy season, we can’t wait to get back up there. We’ll be putting on our snow tires soon enough!
Stay tuned for more updates as we look forward to an exciting season ahead.
